Dove

Rusty’s Charters specializes in full service South Texas guided dove hunts, with great accommodations and meals. 

Located in Victoria County (two hours southwest of Houston) you will be hunting in the heart of milo and soybean farm country. This area holds a tremendous amount of Mourning Dove and Whitewing Dove. Our hunts are primarily over milo, millet and sunflower fields specifically planted and manipulated for dove hunting. The ranches and farms are well maintained prior to hunting season and all vegetation has been removed from the water holes as doves prefer bare ground for easy access and escape.

Hunting Packages:

Day hunt (afternoon): $100 each (8 person minimum)

One night stay with meals and lodging: $350 each (4 person minimum)
      Arrive midday for the afternoon hunt, have dinner, spend the night,
      have breakfast hunt in morning and depart at noon.

Two night stay with meals and lodging: $525 each (4 person minimum).
       Day one:  Arrive after 5 PM for dinner. Add $75 if you arrive by 2PM  
                        for an afternoon hunt.
       Day two:  Breakfast, morning hunt or fishing, lunch & siesta.
                        Afternoon hunt. Dinner after the hunt.
       Day three: Breakfast, morning hunt. Depart after the morning hunt.

All hunting trips require a 50% deposit. No date will be considered confirmed until the deposit is received.
